AMERICA ONE One Man Dream Book 1 eBook T I WADE

The author writes a great story/prediction about a lot that could happen a lot that is happening much that will happen. The story includes geo politics that is really happening in our government today. He also covers exactly where many of us believe a small group in the government is steering our country. Unfortunately I believe much of this series also describes our country and world today.
My opinion this is the best book I have enjoyed in a while. I highly recommend it. It's killing me but as I very seldom pay for a following book in a series as it takes a very good writer to make it interesting enough to purchase continuing books. I am interested enough to purchase the next book.

AMERICA ONE One Man Dream Book 1 eBook T I WADE Reviews

I thoroughly enjoyed this book losing a lot of sleep as I could not quit reading. If you are looking for a clean story without the usual steamy bedroom scenes this one I highly recommend T.I, Wade. Reminded me of the various series focus on Tom Swift books I read as a youth featuring inventions, a number of which anticipated actual inventions. The character has been presented in different ways over the years. In general, the books portray science and technology as wholly beneficial in their effects, and the role of the inventor in society is treated as admirable and heroic. The only draw back is a few typos and abrupt ending.
I loved this book, and want to thwack TI Wade for not hiring an editor to go back and fix this one yet. Because this series is awesome. There are writing problems. The editing and copy-editing is atrocious. But the story is so good that I devoured this book and the rest of the series to date. (And the later books are more fluent.)

We've gotten so used to grey characters. It's refreshing to read a story where some heroes really are clear in their intent and motives, and accomplish what they set out to do, and reach the stars. This series is reminiscent of Heinlein's juveniles that way. And that's an awesome thing.

Please. Go back and have this book professionally edited. I'm sure more people will be able to enjoy the whole series if you do.
A bit over-written and poorly proof-read in spots. Still, the premise is interesting, even if the believability is strained to breaking point by bad science, inexplicable politics and unfathomable motivations. The author needs some help I suggest he get involved in a writing forum, where fellow authors could point up weaknesses and methods of correcting them. However, that is only if one wishes to read it a true science fiction. If read as a comic-book Flash-Gordon sort of endeavor, it is quite good and I want to know what will happen next.
I have read several books of this series; really enjoying them. Very intelligent, great detail in the science of getting into space, living, working, and growing a small colony. At this time in our history, with the extreme and irresponsible partisan actions by Congress, do appreciate that the main protagonist found ways to exercise sufficient power toward maintaining his freedom to realize his dreams along with the dreams of his friends and colleagues. Nice fantasy fulfillment. The author has a very interesting personal history, and seems to have done his homework in his research of all the science to put together a reasonable context for the story's purposes. Great job. Am looking forward to the next book and the rest in this series.
Imagine a privately owned NASA on steroids, with a genius of a leader, a clearly focused goal and this wild story of a no holds barred space race will have you on the edge of your seat as they meet adversity with courage and conviction. The unlikely villain in this story is the big bad federal government, portrayed here as a caricature of the self serving and hypocritical characters we see all too often in civil service, hell bent on securing personal wealth and power under the guise of serving their constituents. The hero of our story is a brilliant businessman wanting to fulfill his lifelong dream to go to the stars. This story begins with a bang and ends just as the bad guys decide to come a-calling, so the sequel is definitely next on my reading list. I can't wait to see how hey are going to get out of this jam.
This story starts out covering a Marine by the name of VIN who is injured by an IED overseas. Then we switch over to an Air Force pilot getting kicked out and finally we get to Ryan, the billionaire who dreams of space, with a cynical (yet realistic given what we see in government today..) view of the US Government.

Fast forward a bit and we find Ryan and a team of scientists, pilots and even a Marine or two heading towards an asteroid to do some mining before the FEDS clamp down on it and bring it into the collective of Federal Control.

While the science in the book is off the mark in several ways, this is science FICTION and really an escapist book to read. A young man (Ryan) had a dream as a kid and works his whole life to realize it. Military relationships as described in the book are kind of iffy as well but frankly, refreshing to think about.. The grammar and spell checking could have been loads better but I enjoyed the story so much, I'm not knocking any points off of it. The story caught me, engaged me and had me reading it all the way through as quickly as possible.

The author puts a lot of detail into his characters, mostly by a bit of detail after they are introduced into the plot which works in this book. We get a view of big Government wanting to gain control over something they did not want to support initially (laying off of NASA workers and such) before it becomes good public news.

Does Ryan keep his company? You have to read it and find out...in book 2! Only quibble I have is the cliff hanger at the end that makes you buy book 2. While I understand the desire to sell the second issue, I think that the author could have wrapped up that particular instance at the end of this book since it engaged me enough to want to buy the 2nd book.

Enjoy Ya'll!
