Elle Kennedy never lets me down. The Briar boys never disappoint. I admit that Garrett owns my heart, but Tucker is very close on his skates.John Tucker was the quiet one of the Briar boys. He was the cook at the house, the one who took care of the other three. He was the baby faced Texan who endured much good hearted ribbing from his team when he decided to keep his playoff beard. He was Tucker. And then, in the end of Dean's book, The Score, Tuck dropped a bomb. He was having a baby with not just any girl, but Dean's nemesis and Beau's ex, Sabrina James.
What the what?!?!?
I went into The Goal knowing two things - one, Tucker had some tricks up his sleeve and two, I was going to have to re-live the very untimely loss of a beloved character.
Tucker and Sabrina were attracted to each other from the get go. Sabrina was never looking for a relationship with any man. She had no time for that. She was a full time college student working two jobs to pay for law school. Not just law school - Harvard Law. She was a young woman who knew what she wanted and wasn't going to let anyone stop her from getting to her goal. A better life than the one she was living. For a character who was not painted in the best light in the previous three Off Campus novels, Sabrina had a lot of work to make me like her. But after the first chapter from her POV, learning of her home life and what she was dealing with when she was not on the Briar campus, I was rooting for Sabrina. Rooting for her acceptance to Harvard. Sabrina needed someone who was going to have her back and take care of her. She won the jackpot when she decided to hook up with John Tucker.
Tuck is at a crossroad in his life. He's about to graduate college and start the next chapter. Two of his teammates, Garret and Logan, are off to play hockey. Dean is off to New York to coach at a prep school. The three of them are following their dreams. Tucker was stuck somewhere else. He feels a sense of commitment to return to Texas, open his own business and help his mother. After visiting her during the holidays, he is second guessing his plans. His home town is small and the thought of owning a realty business there is not the most exciting life he can think of.
As Tuck spends more time with Sabrina, he learns more about her life than anyone else at Briar knows. He wants to help her, take care of her and be there for her, if she would just let him. Their unplanned pregnancy flips both of their worlds upside down, leading Tuck and Sabrina down a path neither one of them are ready for.

The Goal OffCampus Volume 4 Elle Kennedy 9781533344342 Books Reviews
I have been contemplating this review for a while because I am devastated and not in a good way.
I love Garett. I love Hannah. I love Logan. I love Grace. I love Dean. I love Allie. I loved every second of their books. I couldn't wait for this book.
We've never knew a lot about Tucker. Just the quiet Texas boy who cooked and took care of everyone. I was looking forward to learning more about him, but I felt really disconnected from him the whole book. I understand he was trying to give Sabrina space to figure things out, but I never really felt like he fought for her. Just sat and waited.
I started to skim around 50% of the book. I felt sad, annoyed, angry for more than half of the book. Where the other 3 books I was laughing and smiling most of the book. If it weren't for the first 3, I wouldn't have felt obligated to finish.
I understand Sabrina was trying to protect her heart but good lord. That's all I can say about that.
Hoping for some Fitzy love!
This series is an exciting read. The final installment fell a little short for me. I love the characters but the story droned on a bit for me. There is one big problem with this book. I know that the author is trying to run the timeline of this book along with the previous book but it creates a big problem for me. ***Possible Spoiler Alert*** Its a bit disturbing to see a dead character talking. Since this book runs along the timeline of the previous one there is a character that dies in the last one but is alive for a bit in this one. It's disturbing to see someone that seems to be close to the main characters and have to watch them all get smacked with it again. Also I hated this character died in the last book. So much time spent on a charming character, only to rip them away. It's very upsetting to read that emotional impact twice. It just makes me realize how unnecessary the death was in the first place.
After anxiously waiting to get my hands on this final book of this series I was surprised to see that it just was not up to the same standard as the previous 3 books. I so wanted to love this book since I'm a HUGE fan of Elle Kennedy. I have read almost all of her books and just fell in love with her characters and the hot and steaming love scenes she's always delivered but this book was missing something... I just felt like strangling Sabrina through half of the book based on her not wanting to show her true feelings for John in fear that it would somehow destroy his life. I wanted to yell , "really???!" And it was frustrating to see John not acting on his feelings of wanting to take protect her and take her away from her dysfunctional home life. I mean I just could not reconcile myself in understanding why a strong, intelligent and practical man like John would not say" Sabrina, you need to get a grip and realize that I won't allow you and my newborn daughter to live with a drunken loud pervert and a wacky old lady!!" I felt John was way to accommodating or submissive to Sabrina who seemed to be calling all the shots. Even though the love scenes were hot and steamy, they were few and far apart. I felt the story somehow lacked the passion and seemed to drag on way too long for the characters to realize they belonged together. I mean who goes weeks and months without jumping each others bones if they truly were passionate for each other?
